I am delighted to welcome you to Staveley Community Primary and Nursery School. We are a small village school with big ambitions, set in the heart of our village community. Staveley Community Primary and Nursery School is part of the TIG Federation, with Kirk Hammerton CE Primary School and Long Marston CE Primary School. Through our federation's ethos - 'Togetherness Inspires Growth' - we seek to broaden the experience of children in small school settings and share the skills of our experienced and dedicated staff.
Our federation's vision is:
'We respect everyone as individuals growing together as a community, flourishing through compassion, nurture and inspirational learning.'
Through living out our values of Friendship, Respect and Compassion, we seek to grow our nurturing community and recognise that each child is an individual, that all children need to succeed and also should gain an understanding of the wider context of our local and world community.
Our Nursery still has some places available. If you would like to have a look around our Nursery to meet teachers and arrange free taster days, just get in touch. We are also offering 4 free settling days. Our welcoming Nursery is fully integrated with our Reception class, and is supported by the school with multi-sensory experiences. We find that children settle in quickly and easily.
Children are eligible to attend from the term following their third birthday.
Ofsted - “This school continues to be good and buzzes with aspiration and a sense of fun”. We have small class sizes with experienced, caring teachers. Pupils are challenged through memorable and worthwhile enrichment activities with a friendly, family atmosphere.
If you would like to visit our school, myself or Mrs Appleton (Assistant Head Teacher across the TIG Federation) would love to show you around and tell you more.
Mrs Lauren Evans
